The Wealthy Barber

The book "The Wealthy Barber" is about some ordinary people and their personal money management. And it is funny!

It is written by David Chilton in 1997 and there are also new versions. David Chilton is the president of a consulting firm that specializes in teaching financial planning techniques.

The sub-title says: "Everyone's Commonsense Guide to Becoming Financially Independent".

The main character talks to his father about personal finance and he get's the advice to talk to The Wealthy Barber. It turns out that this barber is very good at saving and investing.

He has some good advice, about how to save and invest in funds. If you save ten percent of your income every month, it will get you wealthy in the long run.

If you "pay" your self first, so to say, you will adapt to the money that is left, every month.

After a while, you will not think about it. You are automatically on the right way to becoming financially independent.

It is also about Wills, Life Insurance and Retirement Planning.

It is a good book to start with and it is funny!
